Hunter uses only time-tested and contractor-proven materials to build a plastic valve that can dependably work at 15 bar. The ICV valve incorporates a fabric reinforced EPDM diaphragm and seat, as well as flow control, as standard features to manage the vast range of circumstances that different locations may present. It can reliably sustain pressures of up to 15 bar while managing the hammer produced by such forces. It’s also quite simple to maintain, thanks to bonnet bolts that can be released and tightened with a range of basic construction tools. For applications involving unclean water, a Filter Sentry™ option is also available. The Filter Sentry™ device keeps debris from clogging the valve filter screen, which is prevalent in non-potable water sources.

Hunter ET calculates local evapotranspiration (ET) parameters by measuring critical meteorological conditions with cutting-edge technology. ET is the result of two different processes: evaporation from the soil surface and transpiration from the plant. The ET System will start a fresh cycle that only replenishes the water that is truly required for plant and soil conditions. When harsh circumstances endanger plants, Hunter WiltGard™ technology can intervene and activate protective watering. As a result, there is a significant reduction in water use, healthier root zones, and longer plant life.
KEY BENEFITS:
• Calculates evapotranspiration (ET) for individual microclimate to fit the exact landscape requirements
• Specific irrigation scheduling for every zone based on the characteristics of each
• Enables compliance with local watering restrictions
• Non-volatile memory
• Full range of scheduling options
• Includes 30 m of 0,5 mm2 (20 AWG), 2-conductor for sensor installation
• WiltGard™ technology triggers protective watering when extreme conditions threaten plants
